Siiiiick :/

Wednesday evening I was at dinner with Bec when I started feeling a little icky. Nothing too bad, just an itchy throat. Okay, whatever. That night around 10 or so, I started getting a really bad runny nose and kind of sore throat. Still nothing horrible, just irritating. JP, Astrid, and I were up in the lobby until a little after 3am talking (it's okay to break 24/7 quiet hours when it's with your RA...), that's when it was really starting to bother me. ughh. Reading day was Thursday, and I didn't get to go to any of the parties I was invited to because I felt like crap. Of course, I still woke up Thursday morning "hung over" because I was drinking soda to help my throat (I'm weird, I think it helps) so I was really dehydrated and had a massive headache. Unfortunately, that didn't matter because I still had two papers to write; I sucked it up and went with Sarah and Emily to the library from about 10am until 4pm (with a lunch break inbetween) and felt like crap most of the time, but I finished my two papers and I'm ready to turn in my English portfolio today. One "exam" done and 3 more to go. I still feel like crap, but after napping a lot yesterday (first time since August!) and getting to bed by midnight last night, the only thing hurting is my throat, and the icky nose thing is back. Sinus infection or Swine Flu, I guess we'll see... (although I really hope it's not the latter of the two, haha).

My parents should be here in about 30 minutes; they're taking home a few containers I've packed and bringing me some others. If my daddy remembered, he'll also be bringing me my new cell phone!! My parents were renewing their plan with AT&T, and my Altell plan is up, so they're putting me back on their plan, which got me a new cell phone, and they're getting rid of alltel. I don't know if I'll still have to pay my bill, which I've always paid, but I'm just happy for a nice new phone. :] I'll also have a new number since I'm switching plans. I'm so upset that it's a 980 area code, but I'll deal. I've always had a 704 with my cell, so 980 is like ickk, but ohhh well. If any of you want my new number then ask for it because I'm not posting it online (however, I'll probably send a facebook message to all my FB friends, so if you're one then don't worry about it).

I'll be home Wednesday afternoon and (unfortunately) go back to work the following Saturday. Come see me at Firehouse, we haven't moved to Concord Mills yet,,, that will probably happen in the next month or so, though. Okay, well I have to go change and blow dry my hair and whatnot... Justtt hope I get better soon.

Grandma's wake is today :/ I wish I didn't have all these exams or that it was in NC instead of New York. Ohh well, I did the right thing by visiting her in the hospital.
