I have been SO focused on school this past semester and getting my grades up and attempting to graduate on time. I am happy to say my grades are uppp! So far I've gotten 4 of my grades back, and three of them are As... yaaayyyyy lol . As for graduating on time - that's not happening. I didn't manage to get my application to the college of ed in on time, which means that out of the 17 hours I needed next semester, only 4 hours of those classes were available to me, so I'm just taking a few filler courses. On the bright side, some of those filler classes are withhh my faves :) yay! Buuut that also means that rather than being one semester behind, I'll be an entire year behind - my parents aren't gonna be so happy about that. eek! Ohhh well. One the bright side, I get to graduate with most of my pledge class faves!! haha.
Well since the last time I updated this was in the middle of recruitment....
We got one heck of an AMAZING pledge class!! These girls are wonderful and I'm excited to say I killed my bank account taking two of them as my littles :) yay for continuing on with Amanda making us one HUGE family!!! :) And even though my bank account disappeared this semester, I wouldn't have it any other way!!
My sister got married in October and the wedding was AMAZING! I loved getting to see all of the family and I loved getting craaazyyy with my cousins and aunts & uncles! It was SO much fun - oh how I loveee being Italian ;) lol. The wedding meant missing homecoming, but it's all good :)
Two weeks later was fall break and my besttt friends 20th birthday! sooo her fiance (who moved to Wyoming in Sept) and I planned on him driving out here and surprising her - she had NO idea!! she thought I sucked at keeping secrets because I "let it slip" to her that we were going to a concert and that we were getting dolled up and goin to dinner. We hit a slight bump when her truck broke down, but that just meant him showing up that morning to surprise her and drive her to work instead of him showing up during dinner... ahh :) it was presh!
K welllll thennn came thanksgiving break. I got a few hours at work and got to see my faves! yay! ((clearly nothing too exciting was happening at school -- I was just trying to survive.. and all my study rooms in the library really paid off!!!) Umm I don't really remember thanksgiving break haha. i'm assuming i spent it all with the bff though :) lol ohh yeahh .. I went to see Tangled with Nikki and I went and saw Harry Potter with Randi :)
Nowwww I'm home for Christmas - made it out of Boone just in time to escape the two scary blizzards!! Now I'm sitting in my house all alone bored out of my mind lol. Matthew will be in Concord in a week! yay for me. and yay for nikki because bradley should be here in two.. so yay for double dates and stuff !!!! :) :) lol us and our cowboys hah ;p . noah's still ridin me to hang out with him too so that should work into our schedules. anddd then I was talking to bradley and matthew about comin out to wyoming to visit them and nikki this summer since she's plannin on movin out there - so sad for me lol. buuut matthew told me i should have noah fly out when I do , which is good for me because i'm a big baby and would be terrified flyin by myself lol. but either way, it'd be fun to get out there and see my favorite people for 2-3 weeks this summer... plus i've never been anywhere other than the Easy coast!! eeeek!! :)
lol okay well this blog is long enough! I'm ready to get back to work and make some money this break and I'm excited for my lack schedule next semester - 14 hours where 10 of them are BS classes - fingers crossed I pull another Deans or Chancellors list! :) :) kbyeee !
