UGHHH I HATE EXAM WEEK!!!!
Worst semester ever. Not excited to get these grades back. Not excited about life in general. And I have to get to work ASAP because I'm literally broke. I've never had so many bills to pay this year, and I've literally spent nearly $1500 - $1700 this school year .. ughhh :( i'm an idiot!! This summer I plan on saving SO much money.
So let's see .. I'm almost a JUNIOR!! Wow. College is FLYING by ..
Hm, how can I sum up this past school year?
August - Moved in, got books, went to classes, etc.
September - Britney Spears concert, went through Rush, "pledged" Phi Mu
October - Continued my "pledge" period of Phi mu, called my Phi period .. Fall break let me go home and hang out with my friends "propose" to Randi, and visit my kids at the school .. I miss them tons right now!
November - I became a sister, had Thanksgiving break, and worked over 20 hours in TWO days when I went home :/ blah blah ew! Came back early for App's game which we WON! Oh yeah, and Langley got engaged on my birthday :) thanks, Bryan :) haha
December - I don't even remember .. I made it through my exams with a pretty GPA .. still above a 3.0 and that's all I care about. Christmas Break was the LONGEST break of my life. I missed everyone so much and worked about 40 hours each week just trying to keep my mind off of how much I wanted to be back in Boone. I went to my aunt & uncles for Christmas Eve the first time in a few years.. twas AMAZING. My sister got engaged Christmas Eve.. it was cool.
January - Came back to school, had a decent schedule except my prof's suck.
February - Started tutoring at Parkway but missed a bazillion days because of snow. Saw the worst winter I've ever seen .. that includes living in New York. It was just insane. Valentines Day was spent with some of my fave sisters :) And of course I had lent without facebook or coffee .. and the one year anniversary of Joel's death :(
March - More snow, brought Amanda home with me for Spring Break. We went to Eve's in Raleigh and went to the zoo in Asheboro.
April- My uncle passed away April 1st from Cancer .. he was bad at one point then doing so well, then he just declined so quickly. I was supposed to go to NY for Easter, but instead we had a funeral.. it was REALLY sad! Then Drew drowned April 12... just the worst thing ever . Ugh. April was just the worst thing ever. Not to mention the one year anniversary of my grandma's death was the same day of eve's bday. lovely. but on the bright side, eve's birthday was SO much fun. made me forget about my month for a few hours.
And now it's May. I'm 2 exams away from being halfway finished with college. Holy. Effing. Pooh. I do not approve. This year has flown by.
The worst part of my year: Uncle Mike & Drew Passing away, especially within two weeks of each other. That was really tough. And school work has been much tougher this past semester .. driving me crazy.
The best part of my year is a mixture between going to Greensboro & the whole experience with the Britney concert, Joining Phi Mu and having sisters who have been there for me through the best and the worst... and sisters who are silly enough to grant me my one little wish and take me to the zoo :) gahhh, I love them :D
Moving on in life, I'll be starting work again next week . Ew. Oh well ...
