First Timer... or not :)

So I can't say this is my first time with the blog thing. I've attempted using blogs such as Xanga and Live Journal for the past 4 years, and I must admit to rarely keeping up with them. What can I say? I'm a busy girl!

So, freshman year all over again.. time flies! There isn't much to say, I don't think. School is going as well as expected. I didn't enter as a straight-A student, and I didn't plan on becoming one. While, yes, I'm a perfectionist, my procrastination likes taking over. I am, however, making sure I stay on "honor roll" while in college. If I get below a B on anything, that's when I'll really start beating myself up! Anything lower than a B is just unfathomable! Seriously, why bother going to college?
That's just my outlook on it, anyway.

As I've said, school is going well. Even my personal life is doing okay. Sure, my relationship with the family has always been a little rocky, but the siblings and I are getting along rather well. As for my parents, we get along the best when we don't live together, and I'm fine with that. No teenager has a perfect relationship with his or her family.

I got to visit Robinson Thursday. It's the only school I've ever gone to in its entirety. I've been to at least 3 elementary schools and two junior high schools, but Robinson was the first place I actually stayed... very cool. I was happy to get to see everyone, though. People ask if I miss high school. Before I graduated, I though I would miss it, but I really don't. Sure, I miss the people. There's no end to how much I miss the people, but I don't miss the school. I had some amazing friends, most of whom graduated with me. I've had amazing teachers throughout high school, 3 of whom I will never forget. Mrs. Teeter, Ms Langley, and Ms. Koehl all have had some part in changing my perspective on something or even in just changing who I am and want to be.
But, like I said, I got to visit Robinson Thursday. It was a lot of fun to see everyone who hadn't graduated yet and to see the few teachers I've missed. I won't be able to get back to Robinson until this time in December, but I'm already looking forward to going :)!

Well, I head back to school tomorrow morning. I'm excited to be back in Boone with friends, but I'm definitely not excited for classes. While I am making As and Bs, I've enjoyed sleeping in and not having to worry about my next big paper. Eww for school! haha.

Okay, well this blog is as long as I feel like making it (actually, longer), so I'm finished writing. Hopefully I can keep up with it, but we'll see. Maybe making it one of my 'bookmarks' will work. Adios amigos, & feel free to chat it up with me on Facebook or Myspace :)
