Okay so I was really slack in the whole blog thing this summer, but what can I say? When ya work two jobs you just don't have time. Anywho, here I am back in good ol' Boonetown. Living in the APH ..yay!! :) yall don't even know how good it felt to be able to use my own appcard to get in here -- it was SO frustrating last year always having to wait to be let in. grrr. haha. Olivia, Sam, Amber, and I were stuck with the quad on the fourth floor, but we're making the best of it by dividing it up into two rooms.. Olivia and I with the front, bigger room :), Sam & Amber with the back room that has more closet space..... it's okay, Olivia and I enjoy using the floor for our crap hahaha.
First night up was Thursday and we all celebrated our return with dinner at Flipside and a small party-ish at John's. Fooseball has never been so entertaining ;). Yesterday we had to help with freshman move in and got stuck at East with no elevators or AC :( worst location ever. We basically spent the rest of the day hanging out in our room or upstairs on the phi mu floor with people. finalllyyyy had tech services check out my laptop. they got my internet up and running but still can't figure out why my appstate email wont work on my computer -- probably a virus. so i used my roommates computer to get on my email and forward all my emails to my stupid yahoo address .. annoying, but now I won't have to worry about taking my computer to tech services right as classes start, when I'll need it most.
Speaking of classes - FIVE on Mondays... I go from 9am til 8 pm . ughhh WHY DO EDUCATION CLASSES ALWAYS HAVE TO LAST AT LEAST TWO HOURS?!?!!? geeeeeeez. Tuesday I only have two (which will become one after fall break), Wednesday I have 3 or 4.. can't remember. Thursday just one, and Friday two. word up.
Our recruitment schedule is just as ridiculously busy. omg .. every day we have something else to do. daaangit! can't wait til that's over with in October - hopefully we get some baller girls!! :)
Em's wedding is getting close... it's Oct.9th I believe... something like that. fun fun.
hm, nothing really go on other than this. I miss my best friends back home. ugh. this summer wasn't long enough. by the time i left firehouse in july i only had two weeks of relaxation with people before coming back to school ugh. soooo not going back there next summer! :) hopefully my bank account doesnt completely disappear so i won't have to do the two jobs thing. whatever.
