Greek Week ♥

Way too much stuff has happened since my last blog that I just don't have time to cover it all. Never went to NY for Easter because my uncle passed away April 1st, so I had to go home for the funeral & services. It was sad, but it was great to see all my family - a lot of people came here from NY .. my brother couldn't get a flight in, though .. apparently Obama was coming to Charlotte so my brothers plane wouldn't come in... that sucked because I haven't seen him since I graduated :(. Ohh well, I'll see him at Mike's graduation in June.

This past week was Greek Week ((oh, ps, I'm back on facebook .. yay for lent being over .. I'm also drinking coffee again!!)). All of our greek week pictures & stuff are on facebook as well as videos of us in lip sync. I'm in the library now otherwise I'd put our lipsync video on here .. we did GREAT! I was Fred .. you'll understand if you watch :).

Anyway, here are the results (of what I can remember)
Can Food Contest we raised the second highest number of cans, equaling 1000 ... someone else had 1170 and everyone else had under 700, I believe.
Our Banner placed in the top 3 as well as our sculpture, which tied for 2nd.
We didn't place with lip sync, but we still did FANTASTIC and I'm so proud of Melissa and Lauren for teaching our girls some fantastic routines!
Greek games we placed in ice melt, I believe the obstacle course, and we hit 4th for the chariot race...

Also, Greek Goddess is where one girl from each sorority is nominated a Goddess and then everyone has to raise money for the Watauga Education Foundation... Most sororities and fraternities raised a few hundred dollars, and the total combined amount raised was just over $6000... well Phi Mu ladies went around campus asking for donations and we donated to the foundation ourselves ... we alone raised over $2000!!! :) I'm SOOOO PROUD!! LP won greek goddess. :) Yayy! We raised about 1/3 of the ENTIRE GREEK COMMUNITY! YAYYY PHI MU!!♥!! :)

Okay, well I've got some papers to write && stuff to work on.
Happy 21st birthday to my lovely, wonderful, amazing, fantastic big, Amanda :) gettt it girrrrrllll .. officially apart of the "what the eff, i don't need those exes" club .. can't wait til i can join you .. two years from now :( hahahaha.
