Well the weekend is basically over. Friday was revealing, and I was right about Amanda being my big :] Not only that, but Laura is my twin (and we're a QUAD because Amanda already had Sara and Stephanie!). We're the biggest family, and it ROCKS! My g-big, Kendall took Jamie as her little, so now Jamie's my aunt. And Sara took Laura L, who is my niece. Stephanie took Anna and Samantha H, who are also my nieces. And I couldn't even try mentioning the extended family.. WHOA! haha. We ended up ordering pizza and hanging out for a few hours that night with the family, then Amanda, Samantha, Laura, and myself went to see Harry Potter 6 at ten. It was a good time for real!
The next morning Sarah, Emily, and I made a crazy Wal-Mart trip. Yeah. Never go to Wal-Mart on a game day, haha. Or at least not if you're relying on a bus! Boy oh boy! We made it back to the dorm just in time to get ready for the tailgate. OHHH AND THE LETTERS ARE FINALLY OUT OF MY ROOM!!! hahaha. They've been in my room since before the homecoming game, which is just over 2 weeks. It was insanity! My room has never looked so big/clean now that they're gone! haha. They're in my twins room now, since Laura doesn't have a roomie anymore. Oyee vey! haha. The tailgate was fun, though. It was a father/daughter tailgate, but I told my daddy it would be too crazy to come up, especially since we had our phi retreat that night and I wouldn't get to spend time with him. But it was cool because mrs teeter came up with her family & I got to see Olivia, who is just cuter than ever ((here's your shoutout if you're reading this, haha)).
Post tailgate was the game with the sisters, then dinner, and finally on our way to the retreat. Let me tell you how AMAZING our chapter adviser's house is. She was a sister at another school, but her hubby is an ASU professor, so I guess that's why she's our CA now. But her house was GORGEOUS! They went on a little vacation so we could use it, but we met her this afternoon right before leaving. She's really sweet. We also met her husband who seems like a great guy. The retreat was just SO MUCH FUN! I got to learn so much about my pledge class and it's just amazing. I felt bad for my twin though because she got sick. She's had a ridiculous fever. I was in her dorm for about 3 hours this afternoon/evening reading her a story and just chatting until she fell asleep and I snuck out, haha. Poor kid. She's gotta get better soon because we have lots of shopping and stuff to do for big/little reverse. We have so many wonderful ideas of what to do//get for Amanda :] We LOVE our biggie!!
Ohhh and as for my birthday.. I know it's two weeks away, but we're postponing the celebrations. We've decided that there's gonna be too many post-game things going on and I really don't want to compete with that. We'll probably do something on the 14th instead. It's just more convenient since I have so much going on the weekend of the 7th anyway. And because my roommate's friends are coming up the 6-8 .. They're good kids and I don't want to do anything crazy and come back to the room, haha. So that leads me to my next question... I know I'm not being sexiled, exiled, or anything like that... buuut does anyone have a floor I can crash on the 6th, 7th, or both nights? haha. I'll be no trouble at all :] hahahaa
