Last night I found out that both of my teams lost - Mountaineers lost at ECU and Syracuse lost in overtime,,, UGHHH!
However, the Britney Spears concert was AMAZING. As Emily & I constantly stated... if we were guys, we'd have jizzed in our pants. Dannng! I'm SO glad her friends got us tickets! It was the most amazing night. Ever. Period.
It wasn't even really a concert... I mean, it was... but ah, no words to explain it!
Her album is titled Circus, so that's what it was. She turned her entire concert into a circus with her concert being the main event. It wasn't just a circus, though. It was very Moulin Rouge (amazing movie if you haven't seen it!). Jordin Sparks was her opening act, but there were two acts before Jordin. One was a boy band (think backstreet boys, but not them). The other was the girl who sings the newer version of that song that goes "na na na na, na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye..."
Concert started around 8 and we left around 11. Afterwards me, James, Emily, and Leigh went back to UNCG to play ping pong in James' dorm until about 1am, when Emily and I finally headed back to her house to crash. We left G-boro around 11:45 this morning and made it back to Boone about 2ish. We were supposed to be going camping tonight, but there's too big of a chance of rain, so we're going to reschedule for family weekend to avoid all the crazy Boone stuff (and we can't go next weekend because Emily, Sarah, and I have too much going on with it being rush week.. ah!)
((Did I mention I'm rushing this year? Yeah, totally... and I'm really excited. The only bad thing is if I actually pledge a sorority and get the bid,, well, I don't know how I'll pay nearly $400+ a semester. I don't have that money!) Oh well.. I guess I'll worry about it when the time comes!
