Tonight is pref night - oh golly gosh, guys! haha alliteration at its finest!
Anyway, I'm down to my last two sororities (that is, if I haven't gotten cut from the two I put down). As most people know, I'm preffing Alpha Omicron Pi and Phi Mu. After I go to both parties tonight, I'll tell Kristen (my rho momma) which one I prefer to be in and which one is my number two. Tomorrow morning she'll call and let me know if I got a bid. If I didn't get a bid then that's okay, I don't care enough about being in a sorority to cry or anything silly - I'll spend the day with myyy non sorority friends if that happens. If Kristen calls and I did get a bid, I'll go over to the student union and pick it up. In my bid will be a number to call, and I'll tell the girls that I've accepted their bid and want to join their sorority. Then it's parttttty out on Duck Field (inclement weather changes it to Legends).
Yeahh.. then it's 8 long weeks of pledging and initiation craziness. Woahhh baby! haha. We even have to take a class! That's crazy... but it'll teach us all the stuff we need to know about the sorority we join.
And if I do get one of my top two sororites I get to still spend a lot of time with the SAE frat because they do things with both the sororities I'm preffing! Yeahh buddy! haha.
I'm pretty excited but trying not to get my hopes up too high. There was one I really liked who cut me, and that really sucked, but I'm guessing it was for the best because I already really like one of the two that I'm preffing tonight.
Oh, and did I mention I'm wearing a pretty dress tonight?! I wore a nice dress last night for philanthropy,, but my dress tonight is way cuter! It's a purple cocktail-ish dress... somewhere around the knees, I can't remember, haha. It's pretttyyyyy! haha.
Okay, well now I'm off to go play a little bit of ping pong before getting ready for tonight. My first party is at 5 and I don't know yet when my second one is. Ohhhh goodness!
