Camp Horizon was AMAZING! I can't wait to go back next year!! So much to tell. I took almost 600 pictures and a few videos - it was just as great of an experience as I had hoped it would be. And I'm really excited that it helped me determine what I want to do. I don't know if I keep my special education major for this or if I need to change it, but I want to work with kids who have special needs, but do something more like Special Olympics or like Camp... but I need to be able to make a living, too... but I'll figure that out soon enough.
Yesterday I moved into my dorm and caught up with my roomies :] It was nice to be back in Boone. Classes were today and they went pretty smooth. I already like my SpecEd professor and can tell the class will be great. Bio Lab doesn't actually start until next week, and my SYE class is going to be annoyingly simple - but there are some cool service projects coming up, so I'm excited about that.
Tomorrow I have softball, bio, and art. I was also supposed to have English, but it was canceled because they didn't have anyone to teach the course. I e-mailed another English professor today, though, asking if I could join his class even though it's already full... I REALLY need that class NOW! Ah! haha. If not, oh well.. I'll take it next semester - no biggie.
I have the worst cold ever right now. My throat was really itchy, and now it's itchy and sore :(. My nose is runny, which is making it hurt, as well. I'm really sleepy (but that could be because I just took some medicine), and I just feel like doing nothing. I hope it goes away soon and that I didn't catch anything bad - I hate being sick, especially since it's the first week of classes and everything :(.
Ohh well. That's it for updates.
