Rushing :]

Tonight Emily, Sarah, and I all registered at greeks.appstate.edu to sign up for SORORITY LIFE .. BAM! haha. I am totally not into the sorority thing, but it only costs $25 to rush, so why not have the experience.

My mother about flipped crap about the idea of me rushing. She said "I don't like the idea of you drinking and doing drugs." I had to inform her that I don't do drugs,, and that "drugs are for thugs, momma" haha. Then I tried to ease her mind by telling her that it's okay because Emily and Sarah are looking at that Christian sorority. My mom was a little sarcastic (or serious?) in asking me why I'd want to rush for them. Hah. I responded, "because that's what my friends are doing." Haha... bad answer.

I'm really not rushing for the parties or anything crazy. I hear it's a lot of fun to RUSH. It costs hundreds to actually join a sorority, and unless I win the lottery any time soon, there's no way I can actually join. It's redonkkk to even think about that.

Well, classes are going pretty well. I'm really mad that my English course was dropped because of the lack of staffing, but 14 hours is the lightest, most amazing schedule ever. I'm done at 3 every day except Tuesday when I have a random (yet easy A) 5:30-7:30 night course. Blah. My earliest is 9:30 on T/Th, 10 on M/W and 1 on Friday... not too shabby. Longest walk is from Greer to Turchin in 10 minutes, but it's not too horrible.

Let's see... Nothing much comes to mind. I think Allan may stop up for Labor day.. come for a day or two since he doesn't work Sunday's and may have Monday off (fingers crossed!)

Okay, I'm going to see if I have any homework left to finish then go to bed. Lots to do in the morning - Tuesday's are my suckiest.
