Hell must have frozen over because ALL classes at Appalachian were canceled today! ALL OF THEM! Even soccer was canceled! I actually get to watch House tonight because we don't have soccer; I'm so happy!
Oh, did I mention I'm playing soccer again? It's great! Our record is 2-0, so that's pretty awesome as well!
Without having classes today, I pulled my TV into the lobby and we've been having a movie marathon. We watched Fool's Gold, The Longest Yard, Freedom Kingdom (or whatever the name of the kung-fu type movie is) and they just put in Black Hawk Down. We'll be watching Step Up 2 later on.
I'm just so overjoyed that we have this crazy snowstorm going on - 14 inches of snow! It's amazing and beautiful and just wonderful! My moods have been lifted :]
Lent: I gave up Facebook & Myspace (of course, there's that rule where you can use it on Sunday's... it's a Catholic thing... so I did get on yesterday, but for good reasons. I had to upload all of those pictures - 4 whole albums! I'm sure I'll have tons of notifications by next Sunday when I get on again.
SPRING BREAK! I am either leaving Thursday mid-afternoon or Friday morning. Either way, I'll have a week off of school! Whoo! Only three days left of classes (unless I get really lucky and have tomorrow's classes canceled as well!!). Spring break will be kind of busy, but not so much. I have tons to pack to bring home because it's the last time I'll be home until summer vacation. However, once home I've got loads of plans. Friday afternoon Laura & I are going to the softball game at Northwest, Saturday I've got family stuff, Sunday I'll be obsessed with Facebook, I'm sure. Monday I may go to Jrob, but I'm definitely going Tuesday & if Koehl's class is there, I'll be there Thursday as well (since those are the softball game days). Tuesday night I'm going to Ms. Chanel's with my mom to see everyone who I haven't seen in forever (except Kyndall, I see her when I visit Jrob). Umm... the rest of the week I'll be making time for other friends and stuff... not really sure.
Okay, wow. I haven't blogged since Joel's death... only two weeks, but still...
I'm doing okay. I've had a few rough days in between, mostly because his mom doesn't want to speak to me right yet. Hopefully that changes if/when Danny & I drive down Sunday... I want to visit his grave, plus I haven't been to Rach's grave since last March when I was last in SC.
It's been a crazy few weeks, but I'm making it... who knows what will happen next, but I'm strong and will do all right. :)
